Local Server

Return

If clients do not want to rely on their own internet connection, want as fast a connection as possible or want their data stored on location, the solution is a local server. For larger venues or resorts, UrVenue will install a server at the clients location that gives our clients their own network access.

UrVenue will sync our webserver with a clients local server so they are able to take reservations online. UrVenue takes care of backups so if a clients local server stops working there is a back up of that data on UrVenue servers. UrVenue will send any updates automatically to a clients server to ensure they are always running the latest version of Urvenue.

For resorts, one server can handle hundreds of venues and tens of thousands of reservations per day. If a client has several networks, they can have a server on each network that synchronize with each server so they all hold the complete database.

UrVenue will configure the server according to the clients network specifications, the client is responsible for their own network and making sure the stations are able to reach the server. UrVenue requires that we have a direct ssh (encrypted) connection from the UrVenue server to the clients server at all times. All UrVenue servers run the same version and are all upgraded at the same time.
